Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These are our standard terms for Goose. If your company needs a signed agreement or a data processing addendum (DPA), write to legal@goose.pm and we’ll send our enterprise DPA.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Goose (goose.pm) is software for service contractors: CRM, projects, vendors, messaging, documents and billing in one workspace. Goose is operated by Paragon (“Paragon”, “we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between Paragon and the company or person that creates or uses a Goose workspace (“Customer”, “you”). If you accept them on behalf of a company, you confirm you’re allowed to bind that company.

By creating an account, joining a workspace or using Goose, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If a signed order form or agreement with Paragon says something different, that document wins for the points it covers.

2. Accounts and workspaces

  • Each person signs in with their own account. Don’t share accounts or sign-in codes.
  • Give us accurate information and keep your email address current — we send sign-in codes and important notices there.
  • You’re responsible for what happens under your accounts. Turn on two-factor authentication; we recommend it for everyone and workspace owners can require it.
  • The person who creates a workspace is its owner. Owners and administrators decide who joins, what each role can do, and can remove access at any time.
  • Tell us right away at support@goose.pm if you think an account has been compromised.
  • You must be at least 18 and using Goose for business purposes.

3. Your data

You own your data. Everything you and your team put into Goose — clients, contacts, projects, messages, files, financial records — belongs to you (“Customer Data”). We process it on your behalf and only to provide, secure, support and improve the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don’t sell Customer Data, and we don’t use it to train AI models.

You give us permission to host, copy, transmit and display Customer Data as needed to run Goose for you, including sending it to the services you turn on (for example, texting through Twilio or syncing invoices to QuickBooks). You’re responsible for having the right to put Customer Data into Goose, including any personal information about your clients, vendors and their staff.

Workspaces can include sample data to help you get started. It’s clearly marked and you can remove it at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use Goose to:

  • break any law, or help anyone else break one;
  • send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or messages to people who haven’t agreed to receive them;
  • store or send content that is fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights;
  • upload malware, or probe, scan or attack Goose or anyone else’s systems;
  • get around usage limits, access controls or another workspace’s boundaries;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, or build a competing product from it;
  • collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or health records in free-text fields not designed for them.

Our API, webhooks and AI-agent connections (MCP) are covered by these same rules. Use API keys only for your own workspace and keep them secret.

5. Email, text and calling compliance

Goose sends email, text messages and calls on your behalf, from your domain and your numbers. You are the sender, and you’re responsible for the messages you and your automations send. In particular:

  • Consent. Get and keep the consent the law requires before you text or call anyone, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and state laws. Goose records consent and honors STOP, but it can’t know what someone agreed to outside Goose.
  • Email. Follow CAN-SPAM and similar laws: accurate sender details, a working unsubscribe for marketing email, and your physical address. Goose adds unsubscribe links to campaigns and suppresses bounces, complaints and unsubscribes automatically.
  • 10DLC and carrier rules. Business texting in the US runs over registered 10DLC campaigns. You must give truthful brand and campaign information, keep your messages within the registered use case, and follow carrier and Twilio messaging policies. Carriers may filter or block messages, and registration fees and approval times are set by them, not us.
  • Recording. If you record calls, follow the notice and consent laws where both parties are. Goose can play an announcement; you choose whether to use it.

We may pause sending from a workspace that is generating complaints, high bounce rates or carrier violations, and we’ll tell you why. New workspaces start in sandbox delivery, where nothing reaches real recipients until an owner switches it on.

6. Connected services

Goose works with services like Microsoft 365, QuickBooks Online and Stripe. When you connect one, your use of it is also governed by that provider’s terms, and data moves between Goose and that service as you direct. We aren’t responsible for those services, their availability, or changes they make to their APIs, though we’ll do our best to keep integrations working.

7. AI features

Goose includes optional AI features (Copilot, document reading, drafting and call summaries) provided through model providers via OpenRouter. AI output can be wrong: review it before relying on it. Goose doesn’t let AI send messages or change records on its own — a person approves each action. Workspace owners can turn AI off and set a monthly budget.

8. Plans, fees and payment

  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or as agreed, through Stripe. Seat-based plans are charged for the number of active seats.
  • Fees exclude taxes, which we’ll add where required. Usage-based costs (such as text messages, phone numbers and AI usage above your plan) are shown in Settings.
  • If a payment fails we’ll let you know and retry. If it stays unpaid for 30 days, we may limit the workspace to read-only until it’s resolved.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
  • Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid aren’t refundable, but you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period.

Payments your clients make to you through Goose (for example, invoice pay links) go to your own Stripe account. Stripe’s terms govern those payments; Paragon isn’t a party to them.

9. Security and availability

We protect Customer Data with industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit, isolation between workspaces enforced in the database, hashed tokens and API keys, signature-checked webhooks, audit logging and least-privilege access for our staff. Details are in the Privacy Policy. We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service; planned maintenance is announced in advance when it affects you. If we learn of a security incident affecting your data, we’ll notify you without undue delay.

10. Cancelling, suspension and your data afterwards

  • You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan & billing, or by writing to support@goose.pm.
  • We may suspend or close a workspace that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is unpaid. Where we reasonably can, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
  • You can export your data at any time (Settings → Data → Export, JSON or CSV). After a workspace is closed we keep its data for 30 days so you can change your mind or export it, then delete it from the live service. Backups roll off within a further 35 days.

11. Our software

Paragon owns Goose — the software, design and documentation — and grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your business while your workspace is active. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Disclaimers

We work hard to make Goose reliable and accurate, but except as expressly stated in these terms, Goose is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Goose isn’t legal, tax or accounting advice; tax rules, commission calculations and similar settings are yours to configure and check.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, even if told they were possible. Each side’s total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid Paragon for Goose in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don’t apply to your payment obligations, to either side’s indemnity obligations, or to liability that can’t be limited by law.

14. Indemnity

You’ll defend and hold Paragon harmless against third-party claims arising from Customer Data or from messages you send through Goose, including claims under the TCPA, CAN-SPAM or carrier rules. We’ll defend you against third-party claims that Goose itself, used as permitted, infringes their intellectual property.

15. Changes to Goose and to these terms

Goose will keep improving, and features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell workspace owners by email or in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Goose after that means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can cancel before they apply.

16. General

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the state or federal courts there.
  • Neither side is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.
  • You may not assign these terms without our consent, except to a successor of your business. We may assign them to a successor of Paragon’s business.
  • If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver of it.
  • These terms, the Privacy Policy and any signed order form are the whole agreement about Goose.
